Delicious raw banana stirfry using fire roasted raw bananas .
Ingredients
2 raw bananas
2 tsp coriander seeds
1-2 tsp chana dal
3-4 red dry chillies
2 tsp sesame oil
1-2 tsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup grated roasted coconut
salt as needed
curry leaves 1
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
pinch of asafoetida powder
Method
Fire roast the bananas , and when cooled, peel and grate as shown .
take apan and add oil , roast the ingredients for the spice powder , coriander seeds, chana dal, red chilies , asafoetida powder . add sesame seeds at the end just before removing the pan from heat .
When cooled, grind these ingredinets a powder . Keep aside .
Lightly fry the coconut also .
Take a pan, add some oil, add split udad dal, add mustard seeds, allow to splutter, add red chillies, curry leaves , add the grated raw bananas, stir well, add salt,mix well,add the spice powder we prepared, as required .
Add the roasted coconut .
Remove and serve with rasam and rice .
